Scorpions announced that they had to postpone all of their remaining 2026 tour dates due to unforeseen circumstances, a day after postponing their 2026 residency at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Scorpions said: “We regret to announce that, due to unforeseen circumstances, our upcoming September shows in Mexico and Las Vegas will need to be postponed.”
“We are extremely disappointed but look forward to returning in 2027 along with a number of European shows with details to be announced soon. We cannot wait to rock with you all again! To those who have purchased tickets, all tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds will be available for those who cannot attend the rescheduled shows.”
The postponed concerts were part of the band’s “Coming Home — 60 Years of Scorpions” tour. The Mexico leg was scheduled to include shows in Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey between September 7 and 13, 2026. Those concerts have been moved to August 27, August 30 and September 2, 2027.
The band was then expected to begin an eight-show Las Vegas residency at PH Live at Planet Hollywood. The performances were originally scheduled for September 17, 19, 22, 24, 26 and 29, followed by October 1 and 3. The rescheduled shows are set for September 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23 and 25, 2027.
The residency was promoted as “Scorpions — Coming Home To Las Vegas” by Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment, with Buckcherry announced as the special guest. The Las Vegas run had previously been planned for February 2025 but was delayed while drummer Mikkey Dee recovered from sepsis. The band has held Las Vegas residencies in 2022, 2024, 2025 and 2026.
The group has not provided further details about the “unforeseen circumstances” behind the latest postponements. Ticket holders will be able to use their tickets for the rescheduled dates, while those who cannot attend will be eligible for refunds.
Founded in Hanover, Germany, in 1965, Scorpions are among the most successful bands in hard rock history. Their best-known songs include “Rock You Like a Hurricane” and “Wind of Change.” The band plans to return to the stage in 2027, with additional European dates expected to be announced later.
