Mötley Crüe has already played multiple shows in Canada recently, but bassist Nikki Sixx suggested that Europe is a more probable destination for the band’s next tour, posted on X.
A fan asked Sixx whether Mötley Crüe would perform in Alberta. Sixx explained that the band cannot play everywhere at once and noted that Europe has not hosted the group in quite some time.
“Sadly we can’t be in all places at the same time,” Sixx wrote. “We just did 3 shows in Canada. Love Canada. If we go anywhere we might to Europe. It’s been quite a few years.”
The comments came as Sixx addressed questions about Mötley Crüe’s touring plans.
The band’s recent Canadian dates were part of The Return of the Carnival of Sins, a 2026 North American tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of the 2005–2006 Carnival of Sins tour and the band’s 45th anniversary. Mötley Crüe played Rockin’ Thunder festival in Winnipeg, Manitoba on July 4, 2026, then performed at PNE Amphitheatre in Vancouver on July 12, 2026, and at Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre on July 22, 2026.
Europe has not hosted Mötley Crüe since 2023, when the band co-headlined The World Tour with Def Leppard across venues in Latin America, Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania from February through November. Before that tour, the band’s previous European performances came in November 2015 as part of their Final Tour.
Sixx’s comments reflect the band’s touring patterns and their history with European audiences. With The Return of the Carnival of Sins tour scheduled to wrap on September 26 in Ridgefield, Washington, any future European dates would mark a return to a market the band has not played in over three years.
