Behemoth opened their European co-headlining tour with Dimmu Borgir on 9 October 2026 at Halle 622 in Zurich. Dark Funeral completed the bill, which covered three sides of extreme metal in one night: black metal, symphonic metal and Behemoth’s own theatrical strain.
The Zurich set ran to 14 songs. It leaned on established staples and still found room for three live debuts.
“I, Scvlptor” and “To Drown the Svn in Wine” carried the band’s recent material into the touring set. Venom’s “In League With Satan” gave the run its title and its centrepiece.
Shagrath of Dimmu Borgir walked out for that cover. It was the first live airing of the song in this form, and it tied the two headliners together instead of leaving them as two unrelated sets.
The setlist traded momentum against contrast. “Daimonos,” “Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer,” “Conquer All” and “Ov Fire and the Void” gave the room familiar ground.
“The Shit ov God,” “I, Scvlptor” and “To Drown the Svn in Wine” pulled the show toward the band’s current era. Behemoth remain technically precise and physically punishing on stage, and a set split between new and old material asks a lot of the players.
The night hinged on big, recognisable songs and a few genuine firsts. The Venom cover with Shagrath and the debuts handed the opening-night crowd something no later date on this run can repeat.
Halle 622 is a modern, flexible hall. The Zurich show kept its focus on the set itself.
Dark Funeral opened as special guest. The slot is confirmed, but the Zurich date produced no independent assessment of their sound or audience response.
Behemoth placed their newest songs beside the tracks that built their live reputation. The two debuts and the Venom collaboration pushed the current catalogue into the touring framework rather than trading on nostalgia.
The co-headline format put Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir and Dark Funeral on one stage. Zurich showed what that package offers: three bands from different corners of extreme metal, each drawing a different part of the crowd.
