Draven Bennington, child of late Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington, recently shared a concerning experience on Instagram. A troubling incident occurred shortly after she publicly came out as transgender and began hormone replacement therapy.
“Well, I had the most terrifying experience in the bathroom with two Nazis last night, stay safe and please go in groups,” she shared. “I was alone without my phone and couldn’t have been luckier that there were men in the restroom who stood up for me.”
The specific motivation behind the incident remains unclear. Draven expressed heartfelt gratitude to those who intervened on her behalf.
Draven On Coming Out As Transgender

Draven had opened up about her identity just weeks before this incident. “In August of last year, I decided to take the path of happiness and being true to myself. I came out as transgender and started hormone replacement therapy, and it has been the best decision I’ve ever made in my life.”
After Draven came out as a trans woman, she responded to backlash on Instagram. She called out bigots while thanking her supporters. She said transitioning was the best decision of her life and confirmed she’s keeping her name and using she/her pronouns. Her mother showed love and support.
