Fear Factory’s 29 August 2026 show at Tama in Poznań marked the opening date of the European Cybernetic Domination run. With Hate and The Nocturnal Affair on the bill, the concert was positioned as a full metal event rather than a routine headline stop.
The setlist gave the night added significance. “Roboticist” made its live debut in Poznań, only a day after its release, while “No One” and “Arise Above Oppression” returned as less familiar choices. The balance between new material and older songs kept the performance from becoming a simple nostalgia set.
Fear Factory played 17 songs. “Shock,” “Edgecrusher,” “Linchpin,” “Demanufacture,” and “Replica” formed the familiar core, while the newer and rarely played tracks added movement to the set.
That structure suited the band’s industrial-metal approach. The songs moved between mechanical precision and blunt aggression, giving the performance a clear shape without relying on spectacle.
The first-time performance of “Roboticist” became one of the show’s defining moments. Its place at the start of the set also made the band’s current direction clear before the older material took over.
The deeper cuts gave long-term listeners a reason to stay engaged beyond the standard favorites. “No One” and “Arise Above Oppression” brought a sense of discovery to a set otherwise anchored by established songs.
The bill strengthened the event’s heavier edge. Hate brought an extreme-metal presence, while The Nocturnal Affair widened the evening’s reach and gave the concert a broader industrial and modern-metal profile.
Poznań also served as the first Polish date of the European run, with further shows scheduled in Kraków and Warsaw. That made Tama an important early test for a touring era built around both Fear Factory’s catalogue and its newer material.
The concert’s appeal rested on a direct formula: a 17-song set, a few meaningful surprises, and a clear connection between the band’s past and present. Opening with “Roboticist” placed that balance at the centre of the night.
