The Osbourne family has announced the restock of its “Another Pr*ck In The Wall Tee” in support of Metallica frontman James Hetfield, following criticism from Roger Waters. The family said: “‘Another Pr*ck In The Wall Tee’ restocked for 48 hours in support of our friend James.”
Hetfield said during a recent Metallica Sphere show: “Unless you live in Vegas, you’ve come a long way to spend some time with Metallica… And I just gotta say: Metallica is not here, like some other entertainers, to influence you with their bullshit, OK? We are here, no bullshit. We’re here to forget about all the outside shit, OK?”
Waters later responded to Hetfield by saying: “He’s just showing that he’s a complete prick. He’s got an IQ of about three… He may have a few hundred million dollars or whatever, but he’s a prick.”
The T-shirt was originally released by the Osbournes after Waters criticized Ozzy Osbourne. The renewed shirt campaign now links that earlier dispute to Waters’ latest comments about Hetfield, and it has pulled the two separate feuds into a single public argument.
Hetfield made the remarks during Metallica’s October 10 performance at Sphere in Las Vegas, where he paused to thank fans who had traveled to see the band. The comments did not name Waters or any other performer, but the timing drew attention because Waters has built a reputation for addressing politics and public controversies during his own performances.
Metallica’s Sphere residency, titled “Life Burns Faster,” began in October and is scheduled to continue into early 2027. Hetfield presented the shows as an escape from outside conflicts rather than a platform for political or social messaging, a contrast that appeared to set his approach apart from Waters’ stage activism.
The Osbourne-Waters dispute began after Waters criticized Ozzy Osbourne following the Black Sabbath singer’s death in July. Sharon Osbourne called Waters “twisted” and “sick in the head,” while Kelly Osbourne also publicly attacked him. The family released the first limited-edition run of the shirt on Ozzy Osbourne’s U.K. webstore on December 1, making it available for only a short window.
In that earlier round, Jack Osbourne responded to Waters directly on Instagram. Jack Osbourne wrote: “Hey Waters. You. sad and disconnected you’ve become,” using the post to dismiss the Pink Floyd co-founder’s remarks about his father.
The family’s shirt borrows its wording from Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall.” The design also uses visual elements associated with The Wall, turning Waters’ former band’s imagery into a direct insult. The restocked version now serves the same purpose for Hetfield, tying the Osbourne family’s long-running feud with Waters to Metallica’s frontman.
