Current Bon Jovi guitarist Phil X discussed Richie Sambora’s possible return to the band in a recent interview with Ultimate Guitar. The guitarist has held the position since replacing Sambora in 2013. He showed a remarkably open-minded stance about his predecessor’s potential return.

“I always say — the most successful tours are reunion tours,” Phil X stated. “So if John called me tomorrow and said, ‘Richie’s coming back,’ I wouldn’t be surprised. I’d be like, ‘Okay, cool man. Can I be on second git?'”

Phil X’s statement demonstrates his pragmatic approach to his role in the band. This recent development adds new perspective to the ongoing conversation about a potential Bon Jovi reunion.

People Magazine reveals Sambora’s openness to rejoining Bon Jovi under specific conditions. His main concern focuses on Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal health, which has become a significant talking point recently.

The former guitarist emphasizes that a reunion depends on Jon’s vocal recovery. This stance reflects his dedication to maintaining the band’s performance quality.
