Queen guitarist Brian May discussed new music possibilities in a recent interview with Mojo. The veteran musician confirmed that he and drummer Roger Taylor are actively working in their respective studios.
“I think it could happen. Both Roger and I are constantly writing and coming up with ideas and doing things in our studios,” May said. “I could have the beginnings of a Queen song right there in front of me now. It’s just whether the idea reaches maturity or not. It’s whether that seed can grow.”
This development represents a significant moment in Queen’s recent history. The band has maintained a strong presence in the music industry without releasing new material for nearly three decades.
Last Studio Album

American Songwriter highlighted that Queen’s final studio album, ‘Made in Heaven,’ appeared in 1995. The release featured Freddie Mercury’s last recordings before his passing in 1991.
