Rick Anderson was the bassist for the rock band The Tubes. He played a big role in the band’s success and helped to create their sound. Here is Rick Anderson’s net worth and what happened to his money after his death.

Rick Anderson was born on August 1, 1947, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He was one of four sons born to Clarence Anderson and Kathryn (Neubauer) Anderson. His life changed in the 1980s when he met Marina, his future wife. Together they raised their daughter, Marina Mignon. The family lives in Merced.

Anderson passed away on December 16, 2022. The Tubes released a statement after his passing, writing, “We lost our brother on 12/16/22. Rick brought a steady and kind presence to the band for 50 years. His love came through his bass. RIP.”

However, there was no cause of death revealed in the statement. Anderson was 75, so his death might be related to natural causes.

Anderson was a founding member of The Tubes and remained with the band for five decades. The band released hits like ‘She’s a Beauty,’ ‘Talk to Ya Later,’ and ‘White Punks on Dope’ during his tenure.

At the time of his death, Rick Anderson’s estimated net worth was around $6 million. Loudwire notes his five-decade career with The Tubes contributed to the band success, and the band’s catalog sold over 100 million records worldwide.

The band’s financial success in the 1980s helped Anderson to pursue his personal interests. He managed to have time for vintage car restoration and home improvements.
