Ted Nugent once again spoke about trans citizens in a recent episode of his Real America’s Voice Spirit Campfire.
Nugent Mocks Transgender Supporters

“This is an exciting time to be alive,” he said, sharing a video of a speaker from The Worcester City Council’s meeting about becoming a sanctuary city for transgender and gender-diverse individuals. “If you missed Richard Pryor or Sam Kinison, we’ve got 2025 and the freaks of the world. Number one, I feel so sorry for them. We’re praying for the freaks.”
He then shared another video showing Democrats protesting Elon Musk, saying, “This is the Ted Nugent Real America’s Voice Spirit Campfire and the freaks are welcome to come to the campfire because even as we pray for your rehabilitation and the discovery of some brain cells in your life, we get such a kick out of the profile of the people that hate everything I stand for, everything that is good about America, everything that is good about mankind and those are the people that hate all the goodness and how about these guys?”
Nugent’s Past Statements On Transgender Issues

In 2023, Nugent made headlines for a tweet against transgender people, which sparked online debate. He wrote, via Loudwire, “There is no such thing as transgender. You cannot change your gender. Comfortably numb is actually uncomfortably dumb. Debate me but bring your bib.”
The musician also spoke against Bud Light’s trans partnership. On Newsmax’s Eric Bolling the Balance, he criticized Anheuser-Busch for working with Dylan Mulvaney, saying, “The beauty of my life is that I’ve never spent one red cent on alcohol. But I made sure that my entire crew and my family will never allow any Anheuser-Busch products anywhere near my world.”
He continued, “How can they possibly have a meeting around the table and come to the conclusion that they’re going to piss in the face of the people who pay their salaries? This is the epitome of cultural deprivation in an ongoing tsunami of cultural deprivation.”
Due to his comments about trans people, a Ted Nugent concert in Alabama was canceled in 2023. The show was scheduled at Avondale Brewing Company but faced online backlash, and an LGBT bar announced they would stop buying beer from the venue.
