Evanescence has broken their four-year musical silence with a new single titled ‘Afterlife,’ as announced on their official Instagram. The track serves as a custom creation for Netflix’s new animated series ‘Devil May Cry.’ This collaboration features artist Mako.

“We are so thrilled to be a part of the brand new Netflix animated series ‘Devil May Cry,'” the band stated in their official announcement. “It was an honor to be tapped to create an original song for the show with the incredibly talented Mako. Hope you love it as much as we do!”

The song will appear in episodes 6 and 7 of the show’s first season. This debut introduces Evanescence’s signature sound to the anime adaptation.

This release represents a significant milestone for the band. It combines their established sound with new creative partnerships and upcoming projects.
