The Live album consists of Michael Schenker on the guitar and was referred to as a masterclass in rock guitar by the Judas Priest guitarist. He shared his admiration for the album and said:

“I wore out the needle on this one! It was raw, and the energy was fantastic. Michael Schenker’s guitar playing was and still is a masterclass in rock guitar, and the band was just on fire. They are one of my favorite bands of all time, and this record, to me, really captures the band on their game.”

The rocker cited UFO as one of his early music influences and Schenker as a major influence on his guitar playing many times during earlier interviews.

A few months ago, the rocker shared the same list in another interview and revealed being a huge UFO and Schenker fan. Elsewhere, he clarified that for him, what mattered in playing the guitar used to be how fast and how many notes you could play. The rocker’s mind was then changed to be the space between the notes, after which he named Schenker for the note spacing, the phrasing, his note choices, and his techniques.

Judas Priest announced the release date for their 19th upcoming studio album, ‘Invincible Shield.’ The album will be released on March 8, 2024, and was announced on the band’s October 7 performance at the Power Trip Festival.
