Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke shared a new social media post about the success of his new song, “Joseph,” featuring Corey Taylor and Serj Tankian. He claimed the track is the “biggest metal song of last 20 years.”
Ronnie Radke wrote: “‘Joseph’ is literally biggest metal song of last 20 years and there’s nothing you can do about it, lmao.”
A Falling in Reverse fan commented on Ronnie’s post: “Because the song f*cking slaps. Awesome vocals w/ gnarly guitar riffs and double bass, what’s not to love?! If you don’t like it hit don’t like metal or you don’t like Ronnie but you can’t deny the homie is absolutely just crushing it right now.”
Another Falling in Reverse fan commented: “That is absolutely crazy. Every release gets bigger and bigger.”
Radke backed up his claim by revealing that “Joseph” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart and also reached 25 million views on YouTube.
Radke’s bold statement about the single’s scale is not the only story behind “Joseph,” as the track’s release, its chart run, and the history of the musicians involved add further context to the claim.
“Joseph” was released on September 14, 2026, through Epitaph Records and features guest vocals from Slipknot’s Corey Taylor and System of a Down’s Serj Tankian. The collaboration marked the first time Taylor and Tankian appeared together on the same song. The single was also named after Radke’s middle name, and it arrived with an official music video directed by Jensen Noen, with both guests appearing in the clip.
The song’s performance on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart has been equally notable. “Joseph” extended its run to a third consecutive week at No. 1 in the chart dated October 10, 2026. The result made “Joseph” Falling in Reverse’s seventh No. 1 on Hot Hard Rock Songs, tying Bring Me the Horizon for the most No. 1s since the chart launched in 2020.
