The Feud Between Axl Rose And Jon Bon Jovi

Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose created a notorious reputation for himself throughout his career. Musicians who previously worked with Rose often said how hard it is to see eye to eye with him due to his aggressive behavior. Jon Bon Jovi, on the other hand, has always been referred to as the ‘good rocker’ in the rock and roll world.

Considering both musicians’ public images, it wouldn’t be surprising to hear they had a feud back in 2006. It’s hard to believe that Jovi openly expressed his jealousy of the Guns N’ Roses frontman, and it’s even more shocking to hear Rose ignored the opportunity to clap back at Jovi.

Jon Bon Jovi Was Jealous Of Axl Rose

The press and fans always love troubled frontmen in rock and roll as they often cause an ‘entertaining’ scene in most cases. Nobody questions this fact since it’s always been like this due to the nature of rock and roll. But Jon Bon Jovi finds this unpleasant.

During an interview with the New York Post, Jovi opened up about the rivalry between him and the Guns N’ Roses frontman. He said it disturbs him that Rose receives more attention from the media than he does just because of his ‘bad boy image.’ Jovi also criticized the system by stating that Rose hadn’t made a record in more than a decade. So, he thought he didn’t deserve the attention.

According to BlabberMouth, Jon Bon Jovi’s statement follows:

“That motherf*cker hasn’t made a record in 13 years. Do you know what pisses me off? I was reading this British rock magazine this month and there was a story about Axl Rose and the $13 million Guns N’ Roses record that was never made.

That motherf*cker hasn’t made a record in 13 years and he gets all that attention. Do you know what I’ve done in 13 years? A lot. But they have continued to write about the freak show aspect of him. Because he’s a recluse. That makes him interesting, right?”

Axl Rose was expected to react to Jon Bon Jovi in the most savage way possible, criticizing his music, appearance, or personal life. However, the ‘bad boy’ actually decided to ignore what Jon Bon Jovi said about him. So, fans who were expecting a juicy dispute never got one.
