In a recent Instagram video, Tommy Lee shared the story behind a photo of him with Ozzy Osbourne.
“What the f*ck are you and Ozzy doing?” Tommy’s wife Brittany Furlan Lee asked in the video. “Ozzy is just grabbing my sh*t,” Tommy replied. “I don’t blame him,” Brittany said.
“You look like you’re enjoying it too. You’re going, ‘Uuu,'” she added. Tommy responded, “I like it.”
Mötley Crüe was the opening act for Osbourne on his 1984 ‘Bark at the Moon’ tour. Their biopic, ‘The Dirt,’ covers several stories from that tour, including the infamous moment when Ozzy snorted ants and licked urine during a challenge with Nikki Sixx.
Tommy confirmed that the story is true during a podcast, saying, “Full-on true. I know people ask that all the time. They’re like, ‘Dude, really?’ I’m like, abso-f*cking-lutely. You can’t make that sh*t up.”
He explained further, “Dude, he was so high. All of us were. We had just been on an overnight bus ride, and Ozzy rode with us. So we’re doing rails the whole way. No one slept; everyone was just drinking. We got to the hotel, and no one wanted to go to their room. We all just wanted to keep partying, so we said, ‘Let’s go to the f*cking pool.'”
“Back then, everyone was trying to outdo each other in rock star antics. Ozzy was wasted,” Tommy said. “He saw a trail of ants leading to a kid’s popsicle on the ground.”
Tommy went on, “Ozzy looks down and just snorts the line of ants going to the popsicle. Nikki’s like, ‘Okay, well, f*ck that.’ Then Nikki pulls out his d*ck at the pool. This was at the Four Seasons hotel in Dallas, with people, kids, everything around.”
“Nikki says, ‘F*ck that, watch this,’ and he’s about to pee on the ground and lick it up to outdo Ozzy. But before he can, Ozzy beats him to it and licks up the piss. We were like, ‘All right, Ozzy, you win. You win, dude.'”
Years after that tour, Mötley Crüe headlined Ozzfest in 2010 with Osbourne.
