The relationship between Jonathan Davis of Korn and Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit has been a mix of collaboration and conflict over the years. While the two musicians worked together, their interactions often caused tension and disagreements, with some unforgettable moments in their history.

Worst Song Ever?

In 1998, Davis and Durst teamed up for the track ‘All in the Family,’ a controversial song that featured a back-and-forth exchange of insults between the two.

While the track was intended to be a humorous, playful collaboration, Davis later referred to it as ‘the worst song ever.’ He admitted that its creation was influenced by excessive drinking at the time. “‘All In The Family’ is the worst song ever,” Davis told Metal Hammer. “It’s horrible. We were all drunk in the studio and I was trying to rap. At the time, we were having a good time, but now I just cringe.”

“I’ve got nothing against Fred, it just sucks! We were out of our minds drunk! It shouldn’t have made the record,” he added.

Davis Wanted To Punch Durst

While it looked like the Korn frontman wanted to punch Durst because of the song, it wasn’t the issue. The real reason was because Davis believed Limp Bizkit took credit for and profited from Ministry’s tracks, one of his favorite bands.

“Limp Bizkit did ‘Thieves,’ they did cover that, they do that sh*t live. What pissed me off more than anything in the world about that [was] f*cking Limp Bizkit fans thought Limp Bizkit did that. I wanted to punch people in the f*cking face,” he said.

He then detailed why he wanted to punch Durst: “I wanted to punch Fred in the f*cking face because they did that and kids thought it was a f*cking Limp Bizkit song. It was so f*cking disrespectful. I was pissed when kids were like ‘Will you play that? That Limp Bizkit’s song?’ I was like, ‘Oh.’ It made my blood f*cking boil.”

Overall, while the two have crossed paths musically and even shared the stage, the relationship between Davis and Durst is still complicated.
