“It’s Official: Måneskin Return To Sanremo! After months of discretion, the confirmation finally arrives: Måneskin will be on the stage of the Sanremo Festival 2027,” Concertilive reported. “Confirming the return of the band was directly Stefano De Martino, the new conductor and artistic director of the Festival, who announced the presence of Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi and Ethan Torchio among the guests of the next edition.”

“It will then be the official reunion of Måneskin on the Ariston stage, years after their last appearance in Sanremo. A return with even more symbolic value for the band that, right on the Ariston stage, in 2021, started its conquest of the world with Zitti e Buoni. Sanremo 2027, Teatro Ariston, Sanremo, February 16–20, 2027.”

The reunion will mark the band’s first official stage appearance since its hiatus began after the Rush! World Tour cycle. The members have used the break to focus on individual projects while continuing to pursue their careers outside the band.

Damiano David has launched a solo career during the hiatus, while Victoria De Angelis has continued working as a DJ and developing solo material. The other members have also remained active creatively as the band takes time away from its collective work.

Måneskin’s return carries particular significance because Sanremo played a major role in the group’s rise. The band won the 71st Sanremo Music Festival in 2021 with “Zitti e buoni,” earning the right to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest.

“Zitti e buoni” later won Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam, helping Måneskin move from a successful Italian act to an internationally recognized rock band. The Sanremo victory paved the way for the band’s Eurovision campaign and marked a turning point in its global career.

The 2027 reunion will also take place under new leadership at Sanremo. Stefano De Martino has been named the festival’s host and artistic director, and reports indicate that he wants the lineup to balance established artists with newer performers.

The 77th edition of the Italian Festival is scheduled to take place at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo from February 16 to 20, 2027. For Måneskin, the appearance will represent a return to the stage where its international journey began.
