Triumph has canceled the remaining dates of their 2026 “Reloaded” reunion tour due to a medical issue affecting the band, sharing on Instagram.
The band announced that sudden and unexpected medical circumstances have made it impossible to rehearse and perform the shows as scheduled. The second leg of the tour was set to begin in less than three weeks.
Triumph’s announcement reads: “It is with deep disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the remaining 2026 ‘Reloaded’ tour dates due to sudden and unexpected medical circumstances affecting the band. With the second leg of the tour set to begin in just under three weeks, these circumstances prevent us from being able to rehearse and move forward with the current shows as planned.”
The band acknowledged the short notice and the impact on fans. “We recognize that this announcement comes on short notice, and sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this will cause.”
Triumph thanked their audience for their patience. “To our fans: thank you for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support. We’ve always known that Triumph has the best fans in the world, and are continually humbled by the love you show us. Your support means more than we can put into lyrics, especially during a difficult time like this. Thankfully, the outlook is positive and we will be back on stage with you as soon as possible.”
All tickets for the canceled shows will be refunded automatically. “All tickets purchased for the affected dates will be refunded automatically through the original point of purchase. Ticketholders do not need to take any action to initiate their refunds. Fans with questions regarding their orders should contact the ticket provider from which they purchased their tickets.”
The cancellation affects the second leg of the reunion tour, which marks Triumph’s return to performing.
The reunion tour was Triumph’s first full tour in more than three decades. The band launched the tour on April 10, 2026, with founding members Rik Emmett and Gil Moore joined by Phil X, Todd Kerns and Brent Fitz. The first leg ran for seven weeks across America and Canada, ending on June 6 in Boston.
The second leg was designed to take the band through the Midwest, Northeast, Southwest, and West Coast during November and December. April Wine was set to return as special guests. The band had added 16 new shows to the tour schedule after an enthusiastic response from fans during the first leg.
Triumph cofounder Mike Levine was unable to participate in the reunion tour due to health issues. In December 2025, Levine said he had a problem with his hand that prevented him from playing well. Todd Kerns took on bass duties in Levine’s absence.
The band had not toured since 1993, when they wrapped up dates supporting the album Edge of Excess. Before the reunion tour began in 2026, Triumph reunited for the first time in 17 years in June 2025, performing a three-song set before Game 2 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals in Edmonton.
