“I’ve decided that for the next four years I’m going to focus on creating art that everyone – all sides, all states, all colors, all religions, All countries – can share and enjoy,” he wrote on X. “Seems to be the only thing that joins us. That and good food…but I can’t cook.”

When a follower pointed out that Snider has always made music for everyone and that he typically ignores politics, Snider responded with humor: “Apparently no one on either side cares about artists’ opinions! Lol! (This said, we are still allowed to have them and express them).”

Snider has been outspoken about his views on the 2024 election. Recently, he shared a link to an interview he did, urging followers to either read or skip it, depending on whether they were interested in his thoughts “If you DON’T want to know what I think about the election, state of the world & the future, DO NOT CLICK THIS LINK! (If you can’t help yourself & don’t like it, it’s on you! Don’t give me that “stay in your lane” shit!) If you DO want to know…,” he wrote.

In the interview, Snider shared his views on Donald Trump’s impact on the U.S., stating that people have more in common than governments let on. He ended the discussion by emphasizing that, even with the chaos, people are closer to each other because they connect through art and the appreciation of great art.
