Korn frontman Jonathan Davis has officially tied the knot with Brittany Parisi. The couple exchanged vows on July 3rd at The Neighborhood Church in Palos Verdes Estates, California, in an intimate ceremony attended by approximately 80 of their closest friends and family members. The entire Korn lineup was present to celebrate the occasion, with bandmates James “Munky” Shaffer, Brian “Head” Welch, Ra Diaz, and Ray Luzier all in attendance.
The proposal that led to this union was deeply personal and romantic. Davis proposed to Parisi on June 12th while the couple stood in front of Sandro Botticelli’s iconic painting “The Birth of Venus” at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy. Parisi said, “We had the sweetest little room overlooking a magical, lit-up carousel. I was already on cloud nine — sitting in the sun with my coffee, my gelato, and my rock star boyfriend — when he surprised me with a trip to a museum I’d always dreamed of visiting: the Uffizi Gallery.”
Parisi recalled the magical moment of the proposal: “I’ve always been obsessed with my Italian heritage and the history of the Medici family, who commissioned Botticelli to create some of my favorite paintings. So when we stopped in front of ‘The Birth of Venus’ and I looked over to see Jon down on one knee asking me to marry him, it honestly felt like a dream. I can’t imagine a more thoughtful or more perfect proposal.”
The wedding aesthetic was inspired by Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus,” creating a fairytale atmosphere that honored both the significance of the proposal location and the couple’s artistic sensibilities. The cliffside setting overlooked the Pacific Ocean and provided a stunning backdrop for the oceanside ceremony. The chapel’s gorgeous organ added to the elegance of the occasion.
The couple’s seven-year relationship culminated in this carefully curated celebration of their love. Davis wore a custom Douglass Tartan, honoring his Scottish heritage. Parisi was dressed in a custom gown designed by Ashton Michael, the renowned fashion designer who has crafted many of Davis’ iconic stage outfits throughout his career. Every element was thoughtfully chosen to reflect the couple’s identities and values.
The newlyweds shared their sentiments about the day: “Our wedding was a perfect fairy tale. We will never forget this day.”
