Liam Gallagher responded to Pete Townshend’s recent comments about Oasis.

A fan asked Gallagher, “Liam, did u see Pete Townshend said he was ‘disappointed’ Oasis is back together?? For a good reason tho – he says he loves your solo stuff.”

Gallagher replied, “Bless him.” Townshend’s remarks were made in a recent interview with The Standard.

The guitarist expressed, “Well, I’m disappointed,” when discussing Oasis’ reunion. When asked if he was upset about not getting tickets to the show, Townshend said, “No, because I really like their solo albums.”

Oasis reunited on August 27 this year, 15 years after the Gallagher brothers’ feud led to the band’s breakup. Ticket prices became a major issue, as fans faced costs more than double due to dynamic pricing.

Musicians like Myles Kennedy, Jack White, and David Gilmour have shared their thoughts on ticket prices. Gilmour remarked, “Oasis should do what’s right for them. Choose a ticket price and stick to it.”

Myles Kennedy expressed admiration for Oasis in another interview with Rockklassiker, stating, “One of my favorite choruses of all time…as a songwriter, a lot of times we think in parts, like, ‘Oh, that’s a great part. Why couldn’t I have written that part?'”

He added, “And to me, one of the greatest choruses ever written is ‘Champagne Supernova.’ That is such a massive hook. So I would love to see that live. Just that moment would be worth whatever bazillions of dollars they’re charging.”

“This is the kind of rock’n’roll you’re not gonna get at Wembley Stadium for £400!” the singer noted after joining ‘No Name’s ‘Archbishop Harold Holmes’ at an intimate London show.

Oasis is canceling all tickets sold on secondary websites for their UK tour. Live Nation and SJM, the band’s promoters, announced that over 50,000 tickets will be voided. Canceled tickets will be available again on Ticketmaster at the original price. Oasis had 1.4 million tickets for their UK shows, but over 10 million fans from 158 countries attempted to purchase them, leading to high resale prices.

Bless him
