Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx recently shared his appreciation for Sixx: A.M., a project he holds dear.
In two posts on X, Sixx shared how much he loved the band and its music. When asked by a fan about his favorite project, he said, “Really loved Sixx: A.M.”
A few days later, he posted again, saying, “Listening down to some original demos from Sixx: A.M. There was a certain kinda magic right from the beginning. I’ll forever be proud of that project.”

Stressful Part Of The Band

This year, James Michael revealed the most stressful part of being in Sixx: A.M. “The part that I found the most stressful and the most nightmare-inducing was when there were political differences within the band,” he said. “When Nikki and I weren’t getting along or when DJ and I weren’t getting along or when all of us weren’t getting along.”
The rocker added, “That was the stuff that just killed me because we were all friends and I could just see the pressures of the industry making us all behave differently than I think we would have liked to behave. And that’s the part that I look back on with great regret.”
Sixx: A.M. On Hiatus, New Music Released

Sixx: A.M. went on an indefinite hiatus in 2018, with band members James Michael and DJ Ashba focusing on other projects, including their new band Pyromantic. However, they did release some new material after their hiatus, including a song called ‘Talk to Me’ and a remix of ‘Maybe It’s Time’ in 2020.
The band later announced a greatest hits album titled ‘Hits,’ including remixes and three unreleased tracks.
After the releases, Sixx made it clear last year that Sixx: A.M. has officially retired.
