Slipknot fans have criticized Corey Taylor after his appearance on Falling in Reverse’s new single, Joseph, which also features Serj Tankian.

The reaction began on the Slipknot subreddit, where fans questioned Taylor’s decision to collaborate with Ronnie Radke after Taylor’s past criticism of artists including Machine Gun Kelly and Imagine Dragons.

One fan wrote, “Corey shit talking Imagine Dragons and MGK but then doing a song with Falling In Reverse is truly one of the moments of all time.”

Another fan said, “He either does not know what a GIANT piece of dog shit Ronnie is or he just does not care. Both possibilities are troublesome.”

“Corey, annoyingly, sounds pretty good in it,” another fan added. “He’s still got potential in his voice. It is genuinely one of the worst things I’ve ever heard, though. I’m genuinely surprised at least 2 artists who were pretty much visionaries in their earlier careers have featured on that absolute garbage.” Another fan wrote, “This has been the most embarrassing week for Slipknot fans.”

Joseph was released through Epitaph Records on September 14, 2026. The track is named after Radke’s middle name and marks the first recorded collaboration between Taylor and Tankian.

The collaboration has also renewed discussion about Radke’s public disputes with other musicians, including Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante.

Some fans acknowledged Taylor’s vocal performance while condemning the song. One described it as one of the worst things they had ever heard, while another called the episode the most embarrassing week for Slipknot fans.
