Who Inherited Pig Destroyer’s Blake Harrison’s Estate After His Death?

The metal community mourns the loss of Blake Harrison, former member of the grindcore band Pig Destroyer. He passed away at age 48.

His Musical Legacy and Career

Harrison joined Pig Destroyer in 2006. His role was to incorporate samples and harsh noise elements into the band’s grindcore sound. He played with the band until his departure in 2022. He also was a drummer in Hatebeak, the band fronted by a parrot.

According to Loudwire, Harrison’s career with Pig Destroyer began with the 2007 album ‘Phantom Limb.’ His innovative approach to electronic elements and noise samples continued with later releases like ‘Book Burner’ (2012) and ‘Head Cage’ (2018).

Blabbermouth reports that Harrison also worked on other projects like Tentacles Of God and Triac.

Blake Harrison’s Cause of Death Revealed

What began as a minor medical situation ultimately led to heart failure. According to Consequence, Harrison died from complications related to pneumonia. He previously overcome several health challenges, including cancer.

His partner Lindsey Turnbullet reflected on Harrison’s death in a heartfelt social media statement. “Blake passed unexpectedly yesterday after years of being up and down battling and beating cancer and a number of other health issues that followed,” she shared.

The couple were planning his 50th birthday celebration and a trip to Scotland for their 10-year anniversary.

Harrison had no children. His estate appears to have passed to his partner, Lindsey Turnbullet.

Echoes And Dust documents that Harrison had a big influence on the Baltimore metal scene. He actively supported emerging artists. His efforts helped younger bands like Noisem gain exposure in the metal community. As a way to thank Harrison, the Baltimore metal scene showed strong support after his passing.
