Myles Kennedy has shared a new update on forthcoming music with Slash and the Conspirators, confirming that work on their next album is well underway. In a recent interview with Loudwire, the singer offered insight into the project’s current status and expressed strong enthusiasm for the material.
“It’s safe to say [that there is new music coming],” Kennedy said. “I recorded my portion of the vocals back in August of 2025. I’m very excited about this record.”
He went on to acknowledge his typically self-critical approach while still voicing confidence in what the band has created so far.
“I’m always kind of second-guessing…but I think it’s pretty solid and I’m pretty excited about that one,” he continued.
The confirmation arrives as fans continue to anticipate new releases from the collaboration between the Guns N’ Roses guitarist and the acclaimed vocalist. Interest has remained high following the group’s previous albums and tours.
Kennedy’s update comes during an especially active period in his career, as he balances multiple major projects across several bands as well as his solo work. In another recent interview, he revealed that the upcoming Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators album is fully recorded and now waiting to enter the mixing phase. Kennedy noted that “all [tracks are] tracked,” with the next step being “getting in the studio and mixing it,” a process expected to take place sometime in 2026.
This progress with Slash also aligns with Kennedy’s recent activity with Alter Bridge. According to Loudwire, Alter Bridge released their self-titled eighth studio album on January 9, 2026, underscoring Kennedy’s ability to manage multiple demanding musical commitments at once. His continued involvement across Alter Bridge, his solo career, and his work with Slash and the Conspirators highlights both his versatility and enduring presence in the rock world.
The forthcoming album with Slash and the Conspirators marks another chapter in Kennedy’s long-running partnership with the legendary guitarist, building on a collaboration that has consistently delivered hard-hitting rock music to fans around the globe.
