Former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar shared a candid social media message following his highly anticipated UK dates with the Best of All Worlds band. He humorously admitted that the grueling setlists and jet lag completely exhausted him while passionately thanking London fans for their exceptional reception.

“Well, I had a reporter stop me when I was walking into the hotel,” Hagar explained. “He asked me what I thought about coming back to England after all these years and how I felt about the performance. I told him what I’m telling you. My ass is kicked. The time change, the long shows, the wonderful response was off the charts from fans. I gave it all. I’m happy. Tired. I have a day off tomorrow. I’m gonna get into this city. Wonderful city. London, one of my favorites on the planet. But yeah, I feel really good. Really good. Like the postman, we delivered. Thank you London, thank you England, thank you Great Britain, whatever you wanna call yourselves. You rock.”

The Red Rocker’s exhaustion comes after an intensive run of performances that tested his endurance and commitment to delivering world-class entertainment. The Best of All Worlds band features legendary guitarist Joe Satriani, bassist Michael Anthony, and drummer Kenny Aronoff. They brought their top-grossing tour to the United Kingdom in July 2026, marking a significant return for Hagar to British soil after an extended absence from the region.

The UK leg of the tour featured three consecutive shows at the British Airways ARC in London on July 9, 11, and 12, 2026. This intimate venue represented a strategic shift from the band’s original plans. The tour was downsized from larger arena configurations to prioritize advanced sound technology and create a more personal connection with audiences. The decision reflected Hagar’s commitment to delivering the same high-quality audio experience fans experienced during his Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live, ensuring that every performance met his exacting standards.

The tour itself has become a phenomenon in the rock world, drawing massive crowds and critical acclaim wherever it travels. Hagar’s ability to command the stage night after night demonstrates why the Best of All Worlds tour has become one of the most successful rock tours in recent years. He delivers extended setlists that span his entire career. The physical demands of performing at this level take a genuine toll on even the most seasoned performers. International travel and time zone adjustments compound these challenges.

Despite the exhaustion, Hagar’s gratitude toward the British audience was unmistakable. His message reflected genuine appreciation for the energy and enthusiasm that London and England’s rock fans brought to each performance. The connection between the legendary rocker and his UK audience remains as strong as ever. Decades after his initial rise to fame, Sammy Hagar continues to captivate audiences across the Atlantic with his undiminished passion and showmanship.
