Dream Theater will kick off the month with their 16th studio album, ‘Parasomnia,’ arriving on February 7. This album marks the long-awaited return of original drummer Mike Portnoy after 15 years.

Following that, Lacuna Coil will release their first album since 2019, titled ‘Sleepless Empire,’ on February 14.

Killswitch Engage will join the lineup with their latest release, ‘This Consequence,’ on February 21. This will be the band’s first studio album since 2019’s ‘Atonement’ and their 2022 live record, ‘Live At The Palladium.’

February 28 will bring two major releases. Architects will drop ‘The Sky, the Earth & All Between,’ their first album in three years since ‘The Classic Symptoms Of A Broken Spirit.’ The British metalcore band has already teased fans with four singles: ‘Blackhole,’ ‘The Curse,’ ‘Seeing Red,’ and ‘Whiplash’—and no, the last one isn’t a Metallica cover.

On the same day, Obscura will release ‘A Sonication,’ continuing their ongoing trilogy. Even after the recent controversies over accusations of ‘stealing’ riffs from a former member, the band is pushing forward with the release.
