Former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach expressed his deep admiration for Australian rock band Rose Tattoo in a recent Instagram post. The singer shared memories of his first encounter with the band’s music in the late 1970s. This experience significantly shaped his musical perspective.

“I will never forget back in the late 70s when I was a wee young lad buying the record ‘Assault and Battery’ by Rose Tattoo at Moondance Records and Tapes in Peterborough Ontario,” Bach said. “I couldn’t believe the cover of the record and the music kicked my a** even more.”

“I know that AC/DC are the biggest band in the world from Australia but to me Rose Tattoo was the band that was my personal band that kicked my ass so hard,” he continued. “We can’t be beaten rock ‘n’ roll outlaw scarred for life the songs are just incredible, branded.”

“If you’re not familiar with Rose Tattoo do yourself a favor and crank up the song ‘We Can’t Be Beaten.’ It’s everything that is incredible about rock music. Rock ‘n’ roll outlaw is one of the most mind blowing anthems of all time. Angry Anderson is one of my all-time favorite frontmen & lead vocalist,” he shared.

The hard rock scene widely acknowledges Bach’s appreciation for Rose Tattoo. This recognition particularly resonates with their formative years’ impact.
