“We will not do the makeup. We will hold true to the promise [of never playing another KISS show in makeup],” Simmons stated. “There’s no stage show. There’s no crew.”

“We won’t have 60 people levitating drum sets and all that stuff,” he continued. “This is more personal gathering of the tribes, where we meet them, greet them, maybe have a Q&A.”

The intimate format opens a new chapter for KISS. This change follows decades of their signature theatrical performances and their final makeup-wearing show.

Ultimate Classic Rock revealed the event’s inclusion in the KISS Army Storms Vegas convention. The gathering will take place from November 14-16, marking the band’s first official appearance since their farewell tour ended in December 2023.

The convention’s format enables direct interaction between the band and their fans. This intimate setting contrasts sharply with their previous stadium spectacles.

Loudwire reported changes to Simmons’ performance calendar. His 2025 solo tour will now begin on May 2 in Peachtree City, Georgia, following recent schedule adjustments.

These changes reflect Simmons’ careful balance between his solo work and KISS commitments in the post-farewell era.

Ultimate Classic Rock highlighted the band’s future innovations. KISS plans to launch an avatar show in Las Vegas in 2027.

This technological advancement promises to surpass other major concert attractions. The project demonstrates that while traditional touring has ended, KISS continues to evolve their presentation for fans.
