Formed by the professional wrestler Chris Jericho and guitarist Rich Ward, Fozzy was initially created as a cover band to perform classic rock and heavy metal songs. Ultimately, the band achieved success and gained fame not only with their covers but their own original songs as well. Offering a blend of heavy metal and hard rock, the band gets the attention of both hard rock and heavy metal fans. If you are a fan of heavy metal music, this list of five greatest Fozzy songs is just for you.

5. ‘Sandpaper’

Starting off with a collaboration. Working with Avenged Sevenfold’s M. Shadows for this song, ‘Sandpaper’ gives more of an atmosphere of nu-metal and heavy metal combination. Taking place in the band’s 2012 album, ‘Sin and Bones,’ Fozzy offers an excellent start for those who are looking to get into the band’s music.

4. ‘Burn Me Out’

Taking place in one of the most popular albums, ‘Judas,’ this track is rather a rock classic than heavy metal. It has a more reflective and emotional tone compared to the rest of their songs. Still, it demonstrates the band’s versatility and willingness to experiment with different sounds while succeeding in turning into a catchy track.

3. ‘Nowhere To Run’

Starting off with a heavy riff and building into the modern rock sound, this is one of the newer songs of the band. Released in 2019, Fozzy’s ability to blend heavy guitar riffs with melodic elements is shown in this one track as well.

2. ‘Painless’

An energetic track that captures the essence of Fozzy’s signature style. The track opens with a catchy guitar riff that sets the tone for the song. Lyrically, ‘Painless’ explores a sense of resilience and determination to overcome challenges. While it may not be the heaviest one they have, it’s still a must-check.

1. ‘Judas’

Undoubtedly, this one is the best known among all. Appearing on the eponymous album, this track is considered to be one of their heaviest works with its catchy riffs and powerful chorus. It’s a must-listen if you’re looking for the heavier side of Fozzy.
