A user commented on the tour announcement, questioning the ban, saying, “I thought Liam had a lifelong Ban to fly on Qantas and entering Australia.”

Liam responded, “Well you thought wrong didn’t you it was Kathy pathetic and there are other airlines I can take.”

In 1998, Liam received a lifetime ban from Cathay Pacific Airlines following a fight over a scone during a flight. During Oasis’s tour in Australia, he was arrested for allegedly headbutting a fan who wanted a photo. Although the criminal charges were dropped, he settled a civil case.

Oasis included Australia in their upcoming reunion tour. Noel Gallagher posted on X, “‘People of the land down under. ‘You better run—you better take cover…’ We are coming. You are most welcome.” He added, “Oasis will tour Australia in 2025! Register for the Australian ticket pre-sale private ballot: https://OasisMusic.lnk.to/presaleau. The pre-sale will take place on Monday 14th October. Tickets go on general sale Tuesday, 15th October 10AM AEDT (Melbourne) and 12PM AEDT (Sydney).”

The band will perform at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on October 31, 2025, and at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on November 7. Tour promoter Live Nation announced they would not use the ticket pricing system that Ticketmaster employed for the UK tour, which caused ticket prices to triple and upset fans.

When asked about dynamic pricing, Live Nation referred to Oasis’s previous statement confirming no dynamic pricing would be applied to tickets for their North American shows. The band’s management explained, “It is widely accepted that dynamic pricing remains a useful tool to combat ticket touting and keep prices for a significant proportion of fans lower than the market rate and thus more affordable.”

They added, “But, when unprecedented ticket demand (where the entire tour could be sold many times over at the moment tickets go on sale) is combined with technology that cannot cope with that demand, it becomes less effective and can lead to an unacceptable experience for fans.”

The Gallaghers will kick off their North American tour with two shows at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium on August 24 and 25, followed by a performance at Chicago’s Soldier Field on August 28.
