Bullet For My Valentine has entered the studio to begin work on their new album. The band shared the news on their official Instagram, accompanied by the caption, “Here we go again.”

The announcement included behind-the-scenes photos showing Matt Tuck with a seven-string guitar, raising expectations for a heavier sound.

Fans expressed excitement in the comments, with one writing, “There’s 7 pegs on that guitar. Are you guys doing Drop A? That would be insane. Either way, I’m so stoked.”

Another fan added, “I was very excited until I saw the 7-string… Now I’m beyond excited to see what’s cooking!”

In 2023, the band confirmed they would dedicate 2024 to creating new music and return in 2025 for an anniversary tour of their debut album, ‘The Poison.’

Their most recent release was in 2021, followed by a deluxe version in 2022. In an interview with Rock Sound, Matt Tuck described it as their heaviest work to date.

“It’s pretty brutal, to be honest,” he said. “It couldn’t be more of a contrast with ‘Gravity’ in terms of aggression. It’s very technical. I don’t know why. You’ve just gotta go with what you feel – as a band, as a musician, as a songwriter, you just follow what excites you, and this time, the heavy stuff came naturally.”

In 2018, BFMV explored nu metal with their album ‘Gravity,’ which had mixed to negative reviews from fans. Still, the band’s music has surpassed one billion streams in the U.S.
