Alicia Taylor used to hate KISS, but some tracks made her change her mind.

The Slipknot frontman’s wife took to X to respond to a user’s question about bands. “Show me a band you HATED until it clicked for you one day. I’m talking like, you were an out-loud shit talker and now you get it,” the user wrote. Alicia shortly responded with, “KISS.”

“Omfg SAME! I STILL don’t get them though lol,” another user responded to the singer. “I think the tracks that won me over was ‘Black Diamond,’ ‘Deuce,’ and ‘Strutter,'” Alicia then shared the tracks that made her love the band.

It’s not exactly clear what Corey Taylor thinks about KISS, but it’s apparent that he loves KISS enough to get on stage with their iconic makeup.

Back in 2021, Stone Sour and Cherry Bombs were supposed to perform a show together. Cherry Bombs later made a statement saying that they couldn’t get approval for the fire arts that they have been using for the shows.

Stone Sour played that day. To make it more special, the band members wore KISS makeup. Corey Taylor wore Paul Stanley’s ‘Starchild’ makeup and the rest of the band members wore the other members’ makeups.

“Last night we had to pull off a special show in Springfield, MO, because our Cherry Bombs couldn’t perform. However don’t forget: if you have a ticket stub, digital copy, or printed ticket from last night, it gets you into tonight’s show for free. So come see the Bombs and us get crazy! Take care out there,” the band explained why they played a special show that night.

Both bands performed together the next day.
