Lani Is Kirk’s Second Wife
Kirk was married to Rebecca Enrica Kestelyn 11 years before he entered into his second marriage. The two lasted for about four years before they divorced in 1991 due to the rocker’s commitment to his music career.
The couple have been married for over two decades and is now reportedly living in San Francisco.
Lani Collaborated on Two Songs
The wife shows her support by helping Kirk in his music career. In fact, she helped him write two of his songs, titled ‘Maiden and the Monster,’ and ‘The Jinn.’ You may think it came as a surprise, but this collaboration was not a sudden revelation. Kirk had actually informed his followers about it three years before the tracks were officially released. He disclosed this creative partnership during an event at Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum in 2019.
Lani Prefers a Life Away From Public Eye
As opposed to her husband, Lani prefers to live away from stardom and keeps her life private. She does not have an Instagram account, but has an X account though she rarely posts. Kirk does not post pictures with her or his children either. Still, the couple is seen to be on numerous occasions and events together. Instead of posting her life on the Internet, Lani takes care of her two children.
