In a recent video shared on Tania Estrada’s Instagram account, Manson celebrated his birthday and gave an emotional speech. “Thank you everybody for coming. I really appreciate it,” he began his speech. “I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for everybody here, even the new people I haven’t met yet, and everybody else who loves and supports me. I love you guys. Thank you for everything. In exactly one month, it will be my fourth year sober,” Manson added.

Earlier in March of last year, Manson announced his return to the stage after five years with a new tour with Five Finger Death Punch. Fans were concerned about whether Manson could stay sober while on tour. However, FFDP guitarist Zoltan Bathory addressed these concerns in an interview.

“Manson hasn’t been out on the road for a while, so a lot of people wanna see him. At one point, he was one of the most iconic artists on planet Earth. So, he’s back on stage, back in the saddle. That’s gonna be amazing. He’s also sober and clean, so we always support that, obviously,” Bathory explained.

He also reassured fans about Manson’s transformation: “Ivan [Moody] had a dark period, and he was gone, man. My little brother was on the brink of dying, man, and he came back from that. And he’s clean and sober for six years. If he can do it, somebody who was that gone can do it, and he’s now a different man, then it’s a good example for anyone else. If you’re struggling, man, don’t give up. You can come back from that. And Manson is sober and he’s staying clean and doing the work, so also, we’re supporting that. So, it’s gonna be an amazing tour.”

Manson has also shown he’s doing well in his sobriety with his latest album, ‘One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1.‘ Fans have praised Manson’s performance, noting that he sounds better than ever while sober. “His voice, the lyrics. He sounds so good!! He’s sober, healthy, and better than ever! I can’t wait to see him next month,” one fan wrote about the album’s first single, “As Sick As The Secrets Within.”

Another fan added, “Music doesn’t make me feel much these days. But hearing Manson sounding clean, healthy, and 20+ years younger has filled my heart with such emotional joy. Welcome back, Brian. The glory days are back! Congratulations.”

Fans will have the opportunity to see Manson perform sober during his upcoming European tour. The tour begins on February 10 in Zurich, Switzerland, and wraps up on February 23 in Wolverhampton, UK.
