Sixx posted on social media sharing his thoughts on the new year and expressing his desire for 2024 to end quickly for a certain reason. “Looking forward to saying goodbye to 2024. It’s been the year of being stabbed in the back multiple times but the future is beyond bright for me and my family,” the rocker wrote.

The post quickly sparked a debate about former band member Mick Mars. Many fans brought up the guitarist’s situation and warned Sixx about his words. “You kind of know about stabbing folks in the back eh?… considering what ya did to Mick… define irony,” one user responded to Sixx.

“Now you know how Mick feels. Hope it gets better for everyone,” another fan added.

When a user wrote, “No one gonna bring up the absolute Brute vs Ceasar backstabbing that they pulled on Mick huh?,” someone responded, “‘I tried to fire Mick Mars and he sued us and won, I’VE been backstabbed!!'”

Mars initially stopped touring with Mötley Crüe, citing health issues, but he still wanted to be part of the band’s creative efforts. Later, he filed a lawsuit against the band, confirming rumors of tensions between him and the other members. Meanwhile, the band started focusing on new projects, including a studio album and a European tour with Def Leppard, all without the guitarist.
