Alice Cooper and Sammy Hagar spent New Year’s Eve together, and Cooper even suggested a new career path for Hagar beyond music.
In a new Instagram video, Hagar and Cooper shared their New Year resolutions. The caption of the video read, “A little pre-New Year’s Day verbal commitment between my buddy Alice Cooper and I. I don’t know about Alice but I’m gonna blow it all out. New Year’s Eve tomorrow’s another day.”
Cooper revealed that his resolution is to stop drinking and go sober again. Meanwhile, the Red Rocker said he would ‘re-invent’ himself. When Hagar asked Cooper what he should do instead of being a singer, Cooper suggested, “You would be a chef. Or a novelist. Or a guy that writes novels about chefs. Wait! Or a…” Cooper was then cut off by Hagar, and was dragged aside.
The friendship between Hagar and Cooper goes beyond this playful video. The two rock stars have even performed ‘School’s Out’ together on stage. In 2022, Alice Cooper also enlisted Hagar, Rob Zombie, and others for his 20th annual Christmas Pudding fundraiser concert.
