Coming out of the lively streets of San Diego in 1992, P.O.D. (Payable on Death) made a name for themselves in rock history. Mixing Christian metal, nu-metal, and rap-rock, they hit the mainstream with their third album, ‘The Fundamental Elements of Southtown,’ which went platinum in 2000.

Their next album, ‘Satellite,’ took them even higher, going triple platinum and giving us massive hits like ‘Alive’ and ‘Youth of the Nation.’ Over the years, P.O.D. has sold over 12 million records worldwide, picked up three Grammy nominations, and landed on plenty of movie soundtracks.

Outside of the band’s success, the members have worked on different projects that added to their personal earnings. Here’s a breakdown of each member’s estimated net worth:

4. Noah ‘Wuv’ Bernardo

As P.O.D.’s drummer and a founding member, Wuv also explored side projects like StillWell (with Korn’s Fieldy) and Southtown Generals. In 2020, he co-founded Belle and the Dragon with members of Flyleaf. He also co-owned a skate shop in Chula Vista called The Orphanage, though it eventually shut down. Seeing all his successes and failures as well as his ongoing hiatus from P.O.D. (since 2021), the drummer’s net worth is estimated to be around $1-2 million.

3. Mark ‘Traa’ Daniels

Traa joined P.O.D. in 1993 as the bassist, bringing a jazz and funk touch to their sound. Outside the band, he’s been active in business, serving as president of Ryot Entertainment and managing the alternative band The Wrecking. In 2005, he teamed up with Warrior to create a signature bass guitar. While there aren’t exact figures, his music and business ventures suggest a net worth somewhere between $1.5 million and $3 million.

2. Marcos Curiel

Curiel had a short break from P.O.D. between 2003 and 2006, during which he formed The Accident Experiment. After returning, he also co-founded Daylight Division with members from Papa Roach and Chevelle. With his long career and various side gigs, his net worth is estimated to be between $2 million and $3 million.

1. Paul Joshua ‘Sonny’ Sandoval

The frontman started The Whosoevers, an outreach group, in 2008. His contributions to music both in and outside the P.O.D. even led to San Diego declaring June 23, 2023, as ‘Sonny Sandoval Day.’ He’s also got an autobiography, ‘Son of Southtown,’ on the way. His net worth is estimated to be around $4 million.
