Alicia Taylor recently shared details about her wedding day on X (formerly Twitter.) Taylor, who has been married to the Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor for four years, has recently revealed that their wedding was supposed to be a secret, but it got exposed.
The Cherry Bombs singer got married to her husband in October 2019 with the aim of not making it public immediately. The news eventually spread all over the internet, and the couple had to share it officially with the fans. Alicia shared on X:
“Since it’s our anniversary- remembering after we got married and we wanted to keep it private from the public for a while and the photographer went ahead and posted the photos and tagged us anyways. The fan pages caught on fast, so we felt like we had to post about it.”
After a fan shared their disappointment for the incident, she replied:
It sucked at the time but it’s fine – it was wild to be like, ‘Uh so do we say it now then? Ok let’s go.'”
The two got married six months after they announced they were engaged. Alicia now refers to Corey as her best friend and in an interview, she said that hanging out with him every day is an adventure.
