Metallica frontman James Hetfield’s girlfriend Adriana Gillett has been in a ‘full circle’ moment both before and after starting dating the rocker.
Gillett’s friend Amy Purdy recently shared a video on Instagram about what she and Gillett achieved since she started dating Hetfield. Purdy talked about Gillett’s experience of dating a rock star and what they accomplished together over time.
“What a full circle moment! I am a true fan and have been since I was 14 years old,” she wrote in the caption before pointing out her achievements.
“1. I grew up snowboarding to Metallica 2. I even chose Metallica to compete to in the Sochi Games. 3. In 2014 Metallica tweeted me ‘Good Luck Amy!’ When I was competing in my first Paralympics! And I couldn’t believe it! 4. My good friend who trained me for the 2018 Paralympics years later starts dating James Hetfield. Who by the way is the most humble down to earth guy. 7, Metallica then partners with my organization Adaptive Action Sports to help raise funds for Paralympic hopeful program! 7. Now here we are! All together, full circle moment! 8. Life is amazing,” she continued.
“So lucky! I have also been a fan for many many years and James is an idol,” a user commented under the video. “Holy hell Wow this is so cool!! James is my main influence and is the reason why I play guitar/ have a band! My favorite musician of all time! I play two of his snakebyte guitars,” another added.
The Metallica frontman divorced his partner, Francesca Tomasi after 25 years of marriage. The ex-couple chose to part ways on good terms.
Hetfield and his girlfriend were spotted together on camera back in April last year. While these images gave a glimpse into the rocker’s personal life, his girlfriend’s identity remained a mystery until a month later.
The mystery was finally solved when Gillett shared a post on Instagram, revealing her name and showing her love for the Metallica singer. This post cleared up any speculation about who she was and confirmed their relationship.
