Kelly Osbourne, daughter of late Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne, has shared pointed messages on her Instagram account with new accusations against Sid Wilson. The longtime band member was reportedly fired from Slipknot. The 41-year-old former reality television star called off her engagement to Wilson and shares a son named Sidney with him. She posted a series of cryptic yet direct statements addressing accountability and personal responsibility.
“Strange how the loudest defense of the guilty is rarely innocence… When the mask slips, they don’t face the mirror they throw it at someone else. I also heard that when you break a mirror you get 7 years bad luck! Or is that just karma? This is why I always take accountability! As they say some are sicker than others,” Osbourne wrote in one of her Instagram posts. She continued with more forceful language: “Wake the f*ck up take some responsibility I will not take your shit anymore! I’m done. I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise. Leave me alone. Let me heal. I can’t protect you from yourself anymore.”
Osbourne also addressed practical matters stemming from their separation. “Also while I’m at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?” she posted. The messages came just days after reports that Wilson had been permanently removed from Slipknot, the legendary heavy metal band where he served as DJ and keyboardist.
The relationship deteriorated significantly over the past year. Osbourne and Wilson became engaged in early July 2025. Their engagement lasted approximately eight months before they quietly ended it in March 2026. The breakup was driven by ongoing relationship issues that had been building for some time. Personal conflicts had been mounting between the pair well before their official split.
Wilson’s departure from Slipknot marks the end of nearly three decades with the band. He has been a founding member since 1998. The 49-year-old musician was notified late Friday afternoon on July 31 that he had been permanently kicked out of the group. While the exact reasons for his removal remain unclear, sources close to the band suggested that the decision had been a long time coming. The removal was reportedly related to Wilson’s behavior toward his bandmates, though the band itself has not officially confirmed these details or the circumstances surrounding his departure.
The band’s guitarist Jim Root publicly urged fans not to believe everything they read about the situation. He encouraged people to wait for more official information before drawing conclusions. This cautious stance underscores the lack of transparency surrounding Wilson’s exit. Many questions remain unanswered about what ultimately led to his removal from the group after nearly three decades of collaboration. The silence from the band’s official channels has only intensified speculation about the true nature of the conflict that resulted in Wilson’s permanent dismissal.
Osbourne’s public statements appear to be her first direct response to the firing reports. They suggest deep frustration with Wilson’s handling of personal responsibility in their relationship and potentially in his professional life. Her emphasis on accountability and her refusal to continue protecting Wilson from the consequences of his actions paint a picture of a relationship marked by emotional strain. Unresolved conflicts ultimately became untenable for the mother of their young son.
