Founding Poison drummer Rikki Rockett has announced nearly a dozen The Rockett Mafia shows. He will pay tribute to Poison’s ‘Look What The Cat Dragged In’ album after he and Poison frontman Bret Michaels couldn’t agree on the band’s live return this year.
“Playing Poison’s first album with The Rockett Mafia is a full-circle moment for me,” Rockett said. “It’s raw, it’s fun, and it’s exactly how those songs were meant to be heard. Celebrating the 40th anniversary is really about giving the fans a chance to relive that moment with us.”
Rockett elaborated on the tour’s scope and fan experience. “It’s gonna be a celebration of ‘Look What The Cat Dragged In’. We’re calling it ‘Look What The Mob Dragged In’, going across this country. We’re gonna perform everything, from the first chord to the last scream of that record, plus more, some fan favorites.”
Rockett also highlighted the VIP offerings available to fans. “We’re gonna offer some really cool VIP packages where you can, of course, meet the band, take a picture, come to a soundcheck, signed merch, all kinds of really cool stuff. Make sure to go to rockettmafia.com and get all that information on tickets and VIP packages, when and where we’re playing. We’re gonna upload some really cool content as well along the way.”
The announcement comes as Rockett moves forward with his vision for celebrating the iconic 1986 album independently. This follows the breakdown in negotiations with his longtime bandmates.
Rockett has scheduled nearly a dozen performances across the United States throughout 2026, as reported by Blabbermouth. The tour kicks off in May with shows in McHenry, Illinois at The Vixen (May 21) and Cadillac, Michigan at The Venue (May 22). A Texas run follows in June with stops in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.
The summer and fall schedule expands further. Performances are planned for Hollywood’s legendary Whisky A Go Go (August 14), Tracy, California (August 15), Columbus, Ohio (August 28), Detroit, Michigan (August 29), and concluding with the Rock The Locks Festival in Umatilla, Oregon on September 27. Each venue has been carefully selected to accommodate fans across different regions and ensure accessibility for the dedicated Poison fanbase.
