Linkin Park’s Colin Brittain recently took part in an Instagram livestream where he answered fan questions and talked about Brad Delson’s possible return to touring.

When asked whether Delson would rejoin the band for live shows, Brittain replied, “I don’t know if Brad’s gonna perform live. You’d have to ask him.”

The guitarist announced his absence from Linkin Park’s upcoming reunion tour earlier in September, following their livestream concert in Los Angeles. Alex Feder will take over the guitar for the upcoming dates, though he will still be involved in creating new music.

Colin Brittain will be filling in for Rob Bourdon on drums, while Emily Armstrong will step into the late Chester Bennington’s place as lead vocalist.

Linkin Park is already Brittain’s ‘favorite band,’ as he revealed during the livestream. He’s especially fond of their first releases, ‘Hybrid Theory’ and ‘Meteora.’

The drummer compared the two by saying, “Obviously, I like songs off of both of them. They’re both great for different reasons. I think ‘Meteora’ is like slightly more refined. So, there’s parts of it that I like about that. I like some of the songs off of that, but I also really really like ‘Hybrid Theory’ ’cause it was like the first record.”

Linkin Park’s 2024 shows will end in Brazil on November 16, with a larger tour planned for 2025 in support of their new album ‘From Zero.’

The band’s first record since 2017’s ‘One More Light’ will drop on November 15.
