Helloween singer Michael Kiske has revealed that the band is already well into the creative process for their next album. Approximately 90% of the material has already been completed. During a recent interview with Brazil’s Rock Mania, Kiske reflected on the making of the band’s latest album, “Giants & Monsters,” which was released in August 2025, and provided encouraging news about what fans can expect next.

Kiske explained that the creative process for “Giants & Monsters” was significantly smoother than their previous effort. “It was easy. It was much easier than the one before, which I explain, because we’ve been [back] together now for a number of years, the insecurities are not there anymore that you have in the beginning,” he stated. The singer emphasized that the band’s extended time working together as a reunited lineup has fostered a more confident and organic creative environment. This has allowed them to produce material at an impressive pace.

The abundance of material the band generated during the “Giants & Monsters” sessions speaks volumes about their current creative momentum. “So I think the latest record was more organic somehow. And we had way too many songs. It was not so easy to decide what goes on the record,” Kiske explained. The challenge of selecting which tracks would make the final cut highlights the wealth of material at their disposal.

Helloween is moving forward with remarkable productivity following the successful release of “Giants & Monsters.” The band has already completed approximately 90% of the new record. This demonstrates their sustained creative energy as a reunited seven-member lineup. Kiske’s comments reveal a band operating at peak efficiency, having refined their collaborative process through years of working together.

“It’s not gonna be long. Which shows how creative the band is and how productive [we are],” Kiske concluded. His statement suggests that fans won’t have to wait an extended period before hearing new material. The remark underscores Helloween’s commitment to maintaining momentum and delivering fresh content to their dedicated fanbase.

“Giants & Monsters” marked the second studio album from the reunited Pumpkins United formation. It was the first release through Reigning Phoenix Music, establishing a strong foundation for the band’s continued evolution in the power metal landscape.

The band’s productivity extends beyond what appeared on “Giants & Monsters.” They had accumulated over twenty strong compositions during the recording sessions. This surplus of material, combined with the band’s streamlined creative process and the confidence that comes from years of working together, positions them to deliver their next album with the same quality and energy that characterized their latest release. The seven-member lineup has proven itself capable of generating exceptional material consistently. Kiske’s remarks indicate that this creative streak shows no signs of slowing down.
