Hagar recently posted rare footage from a 1995 show on X, with the caption, “Some nights there was so many things shown on stage. I’m sure people seeing this I thinking, ‘What the hell is this guy wearing?!’ You throw it up I’ll wear it! Ha ha! Can you believe how precise and clean this band sounded in 95? Wow. Al’s neck, brace and all.”

He continued, “Need something to rock through the weekend? May we suggest ‘Top Of The World’ from Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, WI from back in July of 1995!”

The feud between Alex and Sammy has been going on for years, with both taking shots at each other recently.

Alex had said the band didn’t represent Van Halen well during Sammy’s Best of All Worlds Tour. Fans didn’t like Alex’s comments. Some said if Alex had concerns, he should have been more involved, while others pointed out that Sammy contributed a lot to the band and was a talented performer.

Later, in an interview with The Guardian, Alex said that the band lost its spirit when David Lee Roth left. He mentioned ending his book, Brothers, in 1985 because of this, even though the band did well with Sammy as the new singer. Sammy then wrote a book with negative comments about his time in Van Halen.

In response, Sammy posted a throwback video where Alex talks about how Sammy helped the band. In the video, Alex says that Sammy was able to complement Eddie Van Halen on both vocals and guitar, which allowed the band to try new musical directions, including some keyboard work.

Sammy later revealed that he tried to reach out to Alex to join his band, but Alex rejected the idea.

Now, with the recent video posted by Sammy, it seems the feud may finally be over.
