In a new interview with The Jasta Show, Sebastian Bach shared a moment from his time working with Ted Nugent on Damnocracy that he now describes as an ambush. Bach explained that he was set up to drink after being convinced that filming for the day was over.

Bach thought they were done working for the day on the TV show ‘Supergroup.’ “I was under the assumption that we would have a ban. That’s what I thought, but Ted Nugent never thought that and Doc McGee never thought that. He was not interested. I did think it would be. I don’t think any of that was really staged.”

However, Bach clarified that it wasn’t staged, but he learned a valuable lesson. “What I learned is a little drinking goes a long way on a TV show you’ll never f*cking ever see me drink on a television show ever again. No matter how hard they try I will never do that because what they do is they go, ‘Okay guys shooting’s done for the day, let’s wrap up, let’s get some dinner.’ I remember this specifically and they go, ‘Let’s order some pizza,’ and we’re like, ‘Killer,’ it’s like 7 PM. So we order a bunch of pizza for dinner and then the whole house is stocked with booze, wine and I’m like, ‘Oh we’re done working, f*ck it.’ So I started drinking wine waiting for the pizza, right?”

As the evening went on, Bach was frustrated that the pizza never arrived. “8 p.m., ‘Where’s that f*cking pizza man? Is it coming?’ 9 p.m. ‘Hey where’s the f*cking pizza what the f*ck?’ They’re purposely not getting the pizza they’re watching us get f*cked up.”

Bach then admitted he wasn’t at his best. “I was not on my game. I don’t even remember the pizza ever came but they got some great footage for the show of me waiting for the pizza.”

‘Supergroup’ was a reality show that aired on May 21, 2006, featuring Bach, Nugent, Jason Bonham, Scott Ian, Evan Seinfeld, and Doc McGhee. The show had them live together in a mansion in Las Vegas while trying to form a band and perform a live concert.

Damnocracy broke up in 2010, and tensions between Bach and Nugent increased. Nugent criticized Bach’s drinking on the show, and later, Bach implied that Nugent was racist. In 2021, Bach criticized Nugent for avoiding military service. Nugent responded by saying Bach made nasty comments without checking if they were true.

In May last year, when asked about a Damnocracy reunion, Bach responded, “Ha! I don’t think me and Ted could be in a band anymore… and I think that’s an understatement right there!”

In June 2006, Damnocracy posted demo versions of three songs — ‘Take It Back,’ ‘UltrAlive,’ and ‘Edge of the World’ — on their MySpace page.
