“My new single ‘Now Or Never’ is out now,” Malmsteen said. “This track captures everything I love about making music—power, melody, precision, and the freedom to create without compromise.”

“I’m also proud to announce my new album, ‘Hell Or High Water,’ arriving 13 November,” he continued. “Pre-order your copy now and be ready for what’s next.”

The single arrived on August 5. It marks the first taste of Malmsteen’s upcoming studio effort. The album will be released through Music Theories Recordings and Artone Label Group. The track serves as the opening piece of the album, setting the tone for what listeners can expect from the full record.

True to his meticulous approach, Malmsteen handled all production duties on the single himself, serving as producer, engineer, and mixer. The announcement arrives just as the Swedish guitar virtuoso approaches a significant milestone. He has now spent five decades in the music industry since first picking up the instrument.

The forthcoming album represents Malmsteen’s latest full-length statement. It follows his established signature style of neo-classical metal fused with virtuosic guitar work. Details regarding the full tracklist and additional collaborators on Hell Or High Water are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
