Zakk Wylde discussed Ozzy Osbourne’s potential future performances in a recent interview with Riff X’s Metal XS. The guitarist shared insights about Osbourne’s recent Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame appearance, where the legendary singer delivered his performance from a seated position.
“The game plan is, let’s hope this is what happens, you always gotta stay on the bright side of life, because Oz was singing at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame thing. Ozzy was just sitting at the chair and he was singing ‘Mama, I’m Coming Home,’ and it sounded great,” Wylde said. “So hopefully we’ll just do this, and then Oz will go, ‘Let’s just fire up the machine again and we’ll do another tour.'”
“With Oz and his throne that just flies over the stadium or whatever, [where he] shoots out buckets of water and does everything like that,” he continued. “So if Oz has a great time and it’s just, like, ‘I wanna go out on the road again,’ it’s just, like, ‘Good. Let’s do it again.'”
These observations emerge at a crucial moment as Osbourne prepares for a potentially landmark performance.
Final Black Sabbath Reunion

Hello Magazine revealed plans for Osbourne’s participation in ‘Back to the Beginning.’ The event will take place on July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham. This momentous occasion will reunite the original Black Sabbath lineup for the first time in 20 years.
The performance holds special significance as Osbourne continues to manage his Parkinson’s disease-related mobility challenges. This reunion represents a pivotal moment for both fans and band members.
Health Challenges

Hello Magazine documented Osbourne’s extensive medical journey. His challenges began with a 2003 ATV accident requiring metal rod implants. A subsequent fall in 2019 dislodged these rods, necessitating multiple surgeries.
These medical setbacks have transformed his approach to live performances. The singer now adapts his stage presence to accommodate his physical limitations.
Future Prospects

The Westmeath Examiner highlighted Osbourne’s enduring spirit. Music continues to serve as his source of strength despite physical constraints.
The July 2025 show stands as his only announced performance. The transition to seated performances could create new opportunities for future appearances. This adaptation may enable the iconic vocalist to maintain his meaningful connection with audiences.
