Dave Mustaine has announced Megadeth’s farewell UK and European tour in spring 2027. The tour is titled “Breakout: Hibernation Of The Nations Europe Tour 2027” and will feature Black Label Society and Testament as supporting acts, bringing together decades of heavy metal music.

“This isn’t about saying goodbye,” Mustaine said. “It’s about celebrating everything we’ve built together over the last four decades. Every city has its own story, and every crowd has given us unforgettable memories. We want to come back to celebrate that with the fans who made it all possible.”

The band carefully selected their supporting acts to enhance the tour’s significance. “When we started talking about this tour, we wanted it to be a true celebration of metal,” Mustaine explained. “Black Label Society and Testament are bands we have tremendous respect for, and having them join us makes these shows even more special. This line-up represents decades of heavy music, and it’s going to be an incredible night for the fans.”

This European leg represents Megadeth’s first headlining UK tour since 2015. It is part of the band’s multi-year global farewell tour, which began earlier in 2026 with North and Latin American dates. The 24-date arena run will commence on March 9, 2027, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and conclude on April 13, 2027, in Lisbon, Portugal.

Major UK cities on the itinerary include London, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, Nottingham, Birmingham, and Leeds. Mainland European stops feature Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Copenhagen, Oslo, Hamburg, Berlin, Kraków, Munich, Bern, Milan, Lyon, Barcelona, and Madrid.

The Grammy-winning thrash metal pioneers are undertaking this farewell tour following one of the most celebrated years in their legendary career. Black Label Society and Testament will accompany Megadeth throughout the entire tour, creating a lineup that spans multiple generations of heavy metal excellence. Each band brings decades of influence and innovation to the stage, underscoring the tour’s positioning as a celebration of metal’s enduring legacy.
