Ted Nugent Clarifies Retirement Rumors, Confirms Continued Performances

Ted Nugent addressed recent criticism during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation, as shared by Eddie Trunk on X. Fans had interpreted his previous announcement about ending long tours as a retirement decision.

“We have so many conversations where a lot of people say ‘How come you’re going to play again? You said you were going to retire,'” Nugent explained. “I have never used the ‘r word’ [retirement].”

“I have made it quite clear that I still crave to play,” he continued. “I’m still absolutely stimulated by the pursuit of musical guitar adventure.”

Nugent is actively reshaping his touring approach while maintaining his presence in the music scene.

Farewell Tour And Future Plans
